- An insignificant but arrogant and obnoxious young person.
- A silly, insignificant, or contemptible person.
- The hair style owned by characters such as Dennis the Menace, the Family Circus kid and Shaggy from Scooby Doo. Specifically that little bit of hair coming off the top.
I was just thinking about it recently. Every person who has ever been called a twerp has one of those. Just thought it was interesting.
