Math Leader Retreat 2008

So I’m going to be a math orientation leader this year for all the young fros… first years. We’re not allowed to call them frosh. Or tell them that math will rock them. Or that math is the best.

That said, I did have a lot of fun this weekend. I found out who my team members are. I was specifically overjoyed to find that two of my frosh leaders are part of my team this year along with at least 3 others being somewhere in orientation week.

Which is awesome because they are the reason I became a leader in the first place.

The day went like so:

• Meet other group members, make a skit and present to the rest of the leaders.
• Meet with friends from first term, eat lunch at pita palace
• Get back together with group, sign 150 or so letters
• Stand outside in the rain, get burgers

When writing my signature it went from “Apocrypha” to my name once or twice.

And then I hung around with the CSClub guys for a while and went home.
